We invite people from all faiths to join us around the Peace Pole on the Motherhouse front lawn.
The International Day of Peace was established in1981 to bring together people of all nations to commemorate and strehgthen the ideals of peace. By creating this day, the united Nations devoted itse;f to worldwide peace and encouraged all of humankind to work in cooperation toward this goal.
